<< Abstract >>
This book, entitled ‘The Economic Policies of the Kin Jong Un Era-101Questions and Answers’ aims to analyze economic policies under Kin Jong Un’s rule that has extended over the decade since he came to power in 2011. The analysis of this book approaches the North Korea economy with a focus on four sectors- mainstay industry(infrastructure), science and technology, agriculture and light industry- by assessing the performance of each of policies applied to each sector mentioned above, focusing on how specific economic policies affected those targeted sectors of the economy, and consequently it draws out the over all evaluation of the North Korean economy of 2020. Interestingly enough, this book opts for a Q&A session forma intended to facilitate a better understanding of and easy access to the North Korean economy, especially for those who are not familiar with North Korean economic system on account of a market difference from that of the South. As such, this book may help broaden people’s understanding of the North Korean economy that is likely to undergo substantial changes in many ways in near future.
