The Director of the IFES, Kwan-Sei Lee, hosted a completion ceremony of the 14th IFES Academy of Korean Unification Economy at the council chamber on December 1, 2022.

The 14th Academy of Korean Unification Economy was proceeded in-person and online simultaneously under the theme, “A Search for the New Inter-Korean Relations during Economic Security Risks.” This capped off an 11-week program, which ran from September 22 to December 1.

The 14th Academy of Korean Unification Economy gave the opportunities to share in-depth knowledge and experience among 18 trainees, who were executives and staff members of related organizations, including the Vice Unification Minister, key personnel from government organizations, and experts in inter-Korean relations and economic security.

The IFES looks to improve and extend the program next year.
