The Institute for Far Eastern Studies of Kyungnam University held its 68th Unification Strategy Forum on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
Due to enacted government measures to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, the forum was held as a webinar.
Two sessions were held and chaired by IFES director Kwan-Sei Lee: Session 1 on “Evaluation and Prospect of Political and Military Stability of the North Korean System after the 8th Party Congress” and session 2 on “The 8th Party Congress and Comprehensive Evaluation and Prospects of the North Korean Economy.” Several IFES researchers and a number of experts from outside the institute delivered nine presentations and participated in the webinar discussions.
